Oxford Ukuleles Big Band – Available for hire.
Many ukuleles, much singing, and the occasional loud shirt… Oxford Ukuleles Big Band is available for gigs of all types in Oxford and surrounding areas.
With anything from 10 to 25 ukulele players (and a smattering of whistles and kazoos), we play a mix of tunes from vintage 1920s classics to recent pop. It’s irreverent, fun and colourful and makes the crowd smile! We’ve played festivals, carnivals, museums, pubs, steam trains, community events, and even allotment parties.
We generally charge a small fee for gigs to cover costs/expenses but also sometimes play gigs for various charities during the year.
